Η απληστία, ο Ντοστογιέφσκι κι ένα κρεμμυδάκι

«Ζούσε μια φορά κι έναν καιρό μια κακιά γυναίκα, μια στρίγκλα. Κάποτε πέθανε και πίσω της δεν άφησε ούτε μια καλοσύνη. Την περιαδράχνουν οι διαβόλοι και τη πετάνε μέσα σε μια λίμνη που έβγαζε φωτιές. Στάθηκε τότε ο φύλακας άγγελός της και βάλθηκε να σκέφτεται: “Πρέπει να θυμηθώ κάποια καλοσύνη της για να την πω στο Θεό”. Κάτι θυμήθηκε λοιπόν και λέει στο Θεό. “Εκοψε κάποτε από το μποστάνι της ένα κρεμμυδάκι και το έδωσε σε μια ζητιάνα”. Του αποκρίνεται τότε ο Θεός: Πάρε λοιπόν κι εσύ αυτό το κρεμμυδάκι και πέταξέ της το εκεί μέσα στη λίμνη, κι αν καταφέρει να το αρπάξει, τότε εσύ τράβα την. Κι αν καταφέρεις και τη σύρεις έξω από τη λίμνη, τότε θα πάει στον Παράδεισο, αν όμως σπάσει το κρεμμυδάκι, τότε θα μείνει εκεί που βρίσκεται τώρα”. Τρέχει στη γυναίκα ο άγγελος και της ρίχνει το κρεμμυδάκι: “Πιάσου, κυρά, από το κρεμμυδάκι κι εγώ θα σε βγάλω έξω”. Κι άρχιζε να τη σέρνει προσεχτικά έξω από τη λίμνη και κόντευε να τη βγάλει σχεδόν ολόκληρη έξω. Μόλις όμως είδαν κι οι άλλοι αμαρτωλοί που ήσαν κι αυτοί ριγμένοι στη λίμνη πως αυτήν την τραβούσε ο άγγελος έξω, γαντζώθηκαν όλοι πάνω της, για να τους βγάλει κι αυτούς μαζί της ο άγγελος. Μα η γυναίκα ετούτη ήταν κακιά, ήταν μια στρίγκλα κι άρχισε να τους κλωτσάει: “Εμένα τραβάει ο άγγελος, όχι εσάς, δικό μου ήταν το κρεμμυδάκι, δεν ήταν δικό σας”. Μόλις είπε τούτα τα λόγια, το κρεμμυδάκι έγινε κομμάτια. Κι έπεσε πάλι η γυναίκα στη λίμνη και ίσαμε σήμερα καίγεται εκεί μέσα. Κι ο άγγελος άρχισε να κλαίει και έφυγε»...

This animation was presented at the F5 film festival, in April 2009 in New York.It is produced and directed by brand driven design and live action production company Superfad. The relationship of the shapes in space, and the switch from geometric to more organic forms gives the film an interesting asymmetric rhythm.

Great movie / Small details

London based studio "The House of curves" created this video/ad for Zurich’s Europride gay festival coming up in June.Editing, previsualization, modeling, animation, lighting, compositing and even co-writing the lyrics where some of the challanges. The result is funny and detailed. You need t watch it more than once to "catch all the subtle interactions with the physical space and the transformations of the objects ".
